May 4, 2012 Pella, Iowa Tulip Days (Cont) Pella's Historical Village

We visited Pella's Historical Village, opened in 1966 with the opening of the Wyatt Earp home.
Each year they would remodel and move into place various dwellings to create this wonderful,
historical village.  It was just full of information, and beautiful artifacts.  We really enjoyed this
part of our day.  This amazing community has taken great pride in their heritage to preserve
their history.  You can feel there excitement, as you visit each site, a very friendly town, just full
of volunteer's to help make Pella Tulip Festival a success.
