25 July 2012 Fun exploring with Heidi my Sister

On Wednesday we had fun exploring with my sister, we found some fun things.

25 July 2012 AOA Brands

Elder Mike Kelsey is working on a fun brand for the AOA couples.
Each couple created there brand, and Elder Mike is making them.
Elder Gary DeLeeuw is building the stands that will hold
the brands on the display boards.  And Elder Durell Barney has built all the
wood plaques that will hold the brands.  Itr is a huge job.

24 July 2012 Pioneer Day! Happy Birthday Elder Joe J Christensen

Today was the 24 of July, and its Pioneer Day back at home.  We celebrated Elder Joe J Christensen's birthday today also it really was on 21st of July.  We had a wonderful Birthday Party, with good food and fun.  My sister Heidi also came to spend a few days with me so she was able to come to the activity.

23 - 24 July 2012 Jeff Painting

The men have been out painting the white fences that skirt the AOA property
approx 4000 fence pole's need to be painted.  On Monday and Tuesday, the wind
was blowing and the paint would cover Jeff.  He came in an said hello, so I took some
photo's.

21 July 2012 Nauvoo, Illinois

We loved being at Nauvoo, there is so much to do, and not enough time for us to see it all.
When you plan your trip to Nauvoo, give yourself ample time to explore.
We thourghly enjoyed our time.


This building was said to be built with stone from the Nauvoo Temple.
