13 July 2012 Sampsell, Missouri

On Friday the 13th we went exploring, and just traveled roads, of interest.  We read about the cannon that was located by the mormon militia, in a town that could have been Sampsell, the cannon was buried by the Missouri mobsters, and when the mormon militia came to search for the cannon, a wandering sow exposed it while rooting in the road.  Then in a home nearby they discovered the powder, cannon balls, ammunition, and the wheel's for the cannon.  The cannon was later fired on tower hill at Adam-Ondi-Ahman on 22 Oct 1838, in way of celebration.  That was later short lived.
We did not locate a cannon at Sampsell, but someone's interesting work of art, enjoy!!!
