28 May 2012 Hauns Mill (a new look coming)

For the afternoon we drove back to Hauns Mill,
We took the Spencer's, to see the history sites.
They had asked the Crane's to take them to see Hauns Mill,
So Jeff and I went along as well.  And we were so excited
to see the changes that the Church is making on the site.
Last time I visited about two weeks ago, the area felt depressed.
This time we felt such a special spirit present, I felt that the Saints,
were rejoicing, that the church now owns the property, and they have
started to clean up the area.  It was very touching, and a lot more peaceful.
Visit my post on 11 May 2012 Trip continues Breckenridge, and Hauns Mill.
To see past photo's and the change,  I will watch the site, and keep us all posted.
Fun tractor with the tree growing right up through it.

Grandview Church ext 1883, this old church is near Hauns Mill

New look at Hauns mill, this area was all covered
in growth, and you could not see the river.

Cleaned up the memorial and placed bark around it.

Shoal Creek before you could not even see the creek.

Sisters happy with the change that is taking place

Not owned by the church.

Lots of dead tree's in Shoul creek on the other property.
